E-mobility bearings

Due to the point contact, single-row ball bearings are ideal for the high demands on friction, speeds and smoothness in e-mobility. To achieve the performance of combustion engines, a speed index n x dm of 1.4 million (mm/min) is no longer uncommon.

For the bearing, this means extreme acceleration and centrifugal forces in addition to strong heat generation. Certainly no standard ball bearing is suitable for this! Raceways, ball set, cage, seal and grease must be optimized for the requirements. Of course, the current insulation of the bearing is also an important issue.
